"As a part of Timberline High School’s TREE Club, our main focus has been on the declining regulation of Idaho’s wolf population. Wolves are keystone species, meaning that they are crucial in order for the other species and the overall ecosystem to function altogether; if one fails, all else collapses.

Therefore, I thought it was fitting for me to illustrate Mother Nature and her sorrow directed towards the endangerment of her wolves. A single, lifeless wolf lies against her warm body as a last outreach for comfort; Mother Nature glances helplessly towards the viewers as a silent, desperate cry for help."
