We are inviting all students to express their passions through art while educating themselves and the community on climate change. 20+ pieces will be selected and shown at the show while the rest will be displayed on our Instagram page.
Brief: This project will focus on creating a beautiful art piece that represents possible solutions to climate change or just ways it is affecting the world right now, with an emphasis on finding ways to analogize climate change problems and solutions. You can use any medium or combination of mediums (painting, charcoal, photography, scratch-board, pen & ink,graphite, poetry, etc.) There is no limit on size.
We encourage you to get creative, passionate, and abstract with this project. Try to stray away from just finding a reference photo on the internet (and if you do, make it more than just that). Think more into an analogy of what climate change could be in art. We don’t want to create too many guidelines for this project, and we can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with.
